I am writing this in chronological order for reasons I hope will be obvious. We have just done two art fairs one in Twickenham and the other in Windsor, I want to say thank you to the Philip Ledbury appreciation society (Twickenham branch) for their support. I also want to thank everyone we met, thanks to everyone for making both fairs a success for us, we had two lovely weekends, it is the people you meet who make these events a pleasure.
I apologise for writing this again but I get a great deal of pleasure from every painting I do, then someone pays money for it and takes it home and hangs it on their wall, this has got to be the best feeling, I cannot think of another profession that could do this for me.
The downside for me is that the effort of these shows usually takes me a week or two to get over, unfortunately in this case it took two months has I ended up with a chest infection which came and went in the run up to Christmas. Boxing Day arrived and I felt really poorly so took to my bed, December went and January was spent mostly in bed, thanks to everyone who helped Jane with me during that time. I have been up and about for a couple of weeks now and am back at work and painting again, still not 100% but my Doctor says it could take a couple of months to be back where I was last September.
