It is sad that someone some where, (Somerset County Council, or the tossers from Taunton as they like to be called) decides to change the respite system in Frome. We had a wonderful place for respite called Cherry Trees, lovely environment really good staff which is now going to be a permanent home so we are currently talking to social services about respite in Minehead, which is fine if you have a car but a lot of carers who need respite do not.
I suppose that the Tossers thought that if you want to save money you hit the easy targets first, most carers are too busy caring to be able to put up any resistance.
