Started Chemotherapy yesterday, spent from 0900 until 1830 in the RUH, on drip from 0930 until 1730.

Had to stop the drip several times as my temperature went up, then my pulse and finally my blood pressure,we got there in the end.

Went in to the RUH on Tuesday to see a sister for the chemotherapy drugs,spent an hour with her going through all the pros and cons.

I'm taking 2 chemotherapy drugs for 5 days plus all the drugs to combat the side effects this adds up to 25 tablets, they also suggest buying a soft toothbrush and only electric shaving, this is to avoid cuts and the risk of infection.

I will then have to do this again in a months time, I am so looking forward to it, I wondered about employing a body double but I can see snags with that idea.

There is a risk of losing my hair this time, but I'm using brain power to stop mine from going, I will know if it works in 2 to 4 weeks.

I have gone from a 34" waist to a 44" waist in just over four weeks but I have not put on an ounce. I am a fat B*****d.
