Update on me

Been to Oncology in the Royal United hospital today, Starting a 14 day course of chemotherapy tonight, chlorambacil is the drug I take, learnt a little more about it today, the drug will be out of my system 48 hours after taking the last dose but it can take up to 14 days for the effects to wear off.

Gave the most blood ever today as I am taking part in a survey, also did a thing with rinsing mouth out and they kept samples.

I have felt better this week than I have for a couple of months, hopefully my cell count is reducing and this is why, time will tell. Its hard to describe how wonderful it feels at the moment, when I feel like this its magical almost, if you live with pain or an illness it takes its toll on you mentally, at the moment its almost a release, I know the chemo will change that but I'll savour the moment.
